What Are Quilters Blogging About Today?

Yesterday the designs were red and white applique, today they are green pieced.

The design above is my favourite today.

Today there are areas that quilting could be added, yesterday the quilting designs I would use are there.

Unusual, interesting and eye catching!

My comment is the same as the first, but with different added!

How to quilt the light areas in the second is a good question.

 Hello! Do you remember me?! I can't believe my last post was dated April 18! Where did those days, weeks & months go?! I'm sure someone has stolen them!!!

Colours a it dull, but I love the overall design.

Second not as interesting as the first design.

I like mixing up blocks with similar features, as in the design above the links that tie them together, except for 4 of them.

Love the second design with uniform one way links.

I rather like the second design. The whole project is based on one block, and the variations are created by leaving bits out!

Less contrast in the second, but I prefer the first design.

I love everything about my latest quilt called Market Star: the fabrics I chose, the borders, the whole design. The geometric lines are complemented by the floral and dots prints and lend a modern vibe to the quilt. Change the palette for a traditional piece that will add happiness to any decor.

Starry, starry night!

Not so many stars in the second design, but it is my favourite for today … I like the empty space waiting for some quilting lines to be added.

Another project file with five fabrics in a similar colours range, but with enough contrast to show the overall design.

I prefer the second design. It just needs some yellow/gold to represent the national colours of Australia.

 I have been working away on my big pile of quilts that need to be bound.

I just finished another Covered in Love Quilt!

I am still working on the "Oh my Stars" blocks.  I needed to come up with another layout design that used less blocks so I could make an additional quilt from all the supplies Kat sent.

I usually just get a box of blocks and various yardage.  Lots of time the bindings are even all sewn, pressed and rolled up.

I love this step of sorting the blocks and fabrics into quilts.

Bright … and very pointy. I love it!

The blocks are all variations of one block, which is a 12P block … drafted on a 12 x 12 grid.

The second design is more subdued though the colours are the same … just less of them.
